EDT 890 is the course that one takes to fulfill the ISTE requirements for the professional position of educational technology facilitator. In this course our study of assessment will include the following areas of studied focus:
1) Quality control,
2) Organizational needs assessments,
3) Diagnosing problems and proposing solutions using professional assessment techniques/procedures,
4) Business proposal / executive summary format,
5) Assessment tools.

This course provides an overview of how to design, develop, and deliver a training program in the area of leadership/management development. The focus will be on learning the basics of instructional design, the value of experiential activities in delivering training, and on effectively presenting a training program. The course material will be supplemented through learner-centered research and writing assignments.
